Date Day with John

Image
John and I took advantage of the kids being in school and no cleaning lady today to escape to the city for a "Date".  And for us "dates" usually consist of food  during the day because we have the most energy and at night we just want to relax. We started out at a far off place (15 miles away) that took 1 and a 1/2 hours to get to but it was well worth it. It is prepared by addition of generous amount of butter while preparing the normal dosa, and accompanied by coconut chutney. John has been there 2 times before with other guests that have visited

As my first born, he has taught me how to be a mom, to be kind, to be patient, and to address conflict with empathy. I am not sure he knows how much he does for others by his presence alone. He is always thinking and wondering why things happen the way they do. When we started this journey in London he asked about homeless people and he felt sad for them. He asked us if he c
