Dessert Safari

Here in Bangalore, John and I have been really into trying Airbnb experiences. We loved an afternoon in an Indian kitchen. So much so we recommended it to Gam and our friend June and they equally loved it. Bangalore is a working city and so much of what there is to experience is their food and the best way to learn about it is through these experiences. Usually, John is our tour guide when it comes to historic sites. But with food, it is hard for him to guide us when he is learning too.

Today was the first Airbnb experience we had with the kids. It was a Dessert Safari and we thought it would be fun for the kids to have desserts for dinner. Spoiler alert...it was not all desserts. Some cafes served really good food and part of it was experiences the area we were in which was called Kormangala. And we experienced this vibrant area for 3 hours with our guide and it was super fantastic! The crazy part is that his wife is completing a Fulbright in Rhode Island at Brown University.
We had a blast and the kids tried most of the desserts and food too. They loved watching us eat the fire paan. I think now we are trying to fit in as many experiences as we can before we leave. We have found these experiences are the best way to learn about a city.
