Hotel/Airbnb Finale-Part 3

Drum roll please...are you ready for my analysis...my conclusion is in the pictures above. What do you think that I am going to say?
It is really hard to compare them and do a side by side comparison. They are so different and provided us with such different experiences. Both had good and bad points. While the Le Meridian had a pool on-site, the Airbnb had a beach close by. They both had water and the kids could swim and play until their heart's content.
In terms of preference, John and I prefer Airbnb's for many reasons. The main one being that staying at an Airbnb really gives us an experience of how people in that community live. If I were to ask the kids, they would say the hotel. Mainly because they enjoyed the fact that everything they wanted or needed was right at their finger tips. I have not asked the kids because I don't want it to be a choice. I want them to enjoy both for what they were meant to be.
My last analysis is about where my money goes. The truth is, who knows. In both places the hotel and the Airbnb the owners/corporation could take the most of my money and give very little to the workers or it could be more evenly distributed amongst everyone and there is little variance between the owners/corporation and the workers. But who are we kidding India is a capitalist society. What I do know is that in America, Airbnbs run differently. The money goes to the owner of the house, Airbnb takes a cut, and a cleaning fee is added on. The cleaning fee usually is the same amount the owner would pay if they hired a cleaning person. All in all it feels more balanced.
