Directly from the horses mouth.....
I am very impressed with how quickly James and Ashram have adapted to our life in India. They did not skip a beat. I, on the other hand, had to get used to the electricity going out frequently and needing a generator, not being able to take a 20 minute hot hot shower, walking on the streets with the cows, or a menu not really having what is on the menu but what they verbally tell you they have for the day. Maybe it is the difference of age? I, at 43, have gotten very comfortable with my life and JJ and Ash at 7 and 6 respectively really are just starting out and learning about their likes and dislikes. Truthfully, for them, it is just about being happy. For James it is soccer and for Ashram it is playing with Barbies and it really does not matter where they are in the world as long as we are together as a family:-)
Btw, I did not tell them what to say in the videos. I asked them to speak about what they like about living in India and then I hit record.
