The beginning of the Crossroads!

Happy New Year! Today, we leave London and travel to New Delhi where we will be with family and I check in with my Fulbright officers in India. New Year’s Day for me is always a day of reflection. Keeping in the spirit of reflection, the reason we chose the title of our blog to be “The Crossroads” is because for all of us we are at a crossroads.  For me, this Fulbright experience has provided me with the opportunity to make a connection with my culture that I feel I’ve been missing for some time.  For my sons, I am hoping for a similar connection and love for a country that is  based not simply on who they were born

to but based upon a set of adventures they themselves will experience.  For John.  John will simply enjoy the space a day has to offer.  Life in the slow lane when every other middle aged man is running themselves ragged.  Give John a day to think and that’s all he needs.  Of course.  Most of life’s road rarely are linear.  Check back in for the next “crossroad” we encounter.
