Bengaluru Day 1

Touchdown! We have finally arrived to where we will be staying for 6 months. I had a 5:15 a.m. wake up call and it is now almost midnight. We have been going strong all day and I am tired. We flew from New Delhi to Bengaluru, traveled by car for 2 hours to our place, got lost a few times but finally found our place, dropped our luggage off and quickly checked in with the kids school, I tried to network to see if I can partner with the kids school, then went and got groceries, ate dinner, unpacked, and did some work. There was a brief respite after groceries where we sat in the park near our home and the kids were so excited to be free and running around.

Today was not easy, but we all got through it. We also made sure that we took care of essential housekeeping things such has making sure Lord Ganesha is at the door to deflect bad luck and ensure happiness, prosperity, health, and good people enter our abode.

And of course boiling some water for tomorrow. Boiling water is essential in India. Thank goodness for John's creative survival methods. He cut a plastic water bottle to be a filter so he could pour the big pot of water into our water bottles. Who needs to buy filtered water when you have John!
Good night.
